The Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink at the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains. Located on the grounds of the Fairmont Resort in Leura, the Ice Rink is 600sqm of real ice. The Rink's indoor setting makes it an ideal all-weather venue, regardless of the temperature outside. The Rink is open daily and is suitable for skaters of all abilities. Skate hire is included in your ticket price! And for the smaller kids, you can hire a classic penguin skating aid to help them stay up. 

Car parking is complimentary when visiting.

Dress warmly! Ensure you bring socks as we do require socks for all skaters. If you have an infant skater, please bring closed toe shoes to fit our infant skates (size J11 and under require Infant Skates).

In addition to public skating sessions, we offer Birthday Parties plus School Groups, Lessons and Stick & Puck for those Hockey Fanatics! It’s fun for the whole family! Ice skating is indeed a sport for all ages. Kids absolutely love trying new things, and ice skating is full of action and adventure.

Helmets are now Mandatory. We are happy to supply helmets however encourage guests to bring their own if they prefer.

Stick & Puck night at Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink is every Monday 6pm - 7:30pm. Each night will consist of 1 hour of practice and drills followed by a 30min scrimmage. Stick, Skate and Helmet hire is available, you are welcome to bring your own gear!

If you've ever wanted to learn Ice Hockey, or looking for that next step to take your skating skills, this is the perfect session for you! 
Suitable for all ages and skill levels - *skaters require a basic skating skill able to skate unassisted and capable of stopping. 

**NO hard pucks will be allowed on the ice due to safety concerns, we will supply yellow practice pucks.**

Come learn to skate at the Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink! Lessons ran weekly on Sundays 4-6pm. Lessons run in 30min blocks teaching Beginner 1, Beginner 2 Novice and Intermediate, with an hour around the lesson to practice your skills. 

Price includes skate hire, 30min lesson and 1 hour around your lesson to practice what you've learnt. Minimum age is 6.

• Try Out L2S: Starts 4pm - Never skated before - try before committing to full term.
• Beginner 1: Starts 4:30pm - Never skated before - Still finding confidence.
• Beginner 2: Starts 5pm - Confident skater - Backward skating.
• Novice: Starts 5:30pm - Learning Skills - Crossovers
• Intermediate: Starts 6pm - Aus Skate Intermediate 2 - Free Skate 1

If this is your first time at Learn 2 Skate, please arrive at 4pm and the coach will assess your skating and let you know what level is best for you.

Purchase a full Term for $250 valued at $25 per lesson. This Term Pass gets you 10 lessons. Any lessons unused can be used for regular public lessons.

Join us Friday mornings for Coffee Club with a Hot Cuppa' and some fun as you learn to skate at the Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink! Coffee Club runs every Friday 10 - 11:30am. Make some new friends whilst learning to skate in a relaxed environment. Ideal of mature minded people who want to take it slow, laid back and looking to socialize.

Price includes skate hire, 90min skating lesson from an accredited APSA instructor and small Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate.

School Holidays Figure Skating Sessions - This session is open for experienced Figure Skaters to practice away from the crowds and for private lessons to be conducted.

This session is for Figure Skaters only.

This session is not open for general skating - only for experienced figure skaters and those having private Figure Skating lessons.
