The Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink at the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains. Located on the grounds of the Fairmont Resort in Leura, the Ice Rink is 600sqm of real ice. The Rink's indoor setting makes it an ideal all-weather venue, regardless of the temperature outside. The Rink is open daily and is suitable for skaters of all abilities. Skate hire is included in your ticket price! And for the smaller kids, you can hire a classic penguin skating aid to help them stay up. 

Car parking is complimentary when visiting.

Dress warmly! Ensure you bring socks as we do require socks for all skaters. If you have an infant skater, please bring closed toe shoes to fit our infant skates (size J11 and under require Infant Skates).

In addition to public skating sessions, we offer Birthday Parties plus School Groups, Lessons and Stick & Puck for those Hockey Fanatics! It’s fun for the whole family! Ice skating is indeed a sport for all ages. Kids absolutely love trying new things, and ice skating is full of action and adventure.

Helmets are Mandatory. We are happy to supply helmets however encourage guests to bring their own if they prefer.

Come learn to skate at the Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink! Lessons ran weekly on Sundays 4-6pm. Lessons run in 30min blocks teaching Beginner 1, Beginner 2 Novice and Intermediate, with an hour around the lesson to practice your skills. 

Learn 2 Skate Term 2 2026 will Begin on Sunday 26th April and run each Sunday at 4pm with the last lesson on Sunday 28th June.

Price includes skate hire, 30min lesson and 1 hour around your lesson to practice what you've learnt. Minimum age is 8.

• Try Out L2S: Starts 4pm - Never skated before - try before committing to full term.
• Beginner 1: Starts 4:30pm - Never skated before - Still finding confidence.
• Beginner 2: Starts 5pm - Confident skater - Backward skating.
• Novice: Starts 5:30pm - Learning Skills - Crossovers
• Intermediate: Starts 6pm - Aus Skate Intermediate 2 - Free Skate 1

If this is your first time at Learn 2 Skate, please arrive at 4pm and the coach will assess your skating and let you know what level is best for you.

Purchase a full Term for $250 valued at $25 per lesson. This Term Pass gets you 10 lessons. Any lessons unused can be used for regular public lessons.

Stick & Puck night at Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink runs on Mondays 6pm - 7:30pm.

Stick, Skate and Helmet hire is available, or you are welcome to bring your own gear!

The session varies depending on participants and may include self-directed training, drills, 2v2, half court scrimmage, and occasionally voluntary coaching and support from our more seasoned players.

Helmets are mandatory and supplied at no extra cost, however, we encourage guests to bring their own. All other safety gear is up to the individual and BYO. 

If you've ever wanted to learn the ropes of Ice Hockey, looking for that next step to take your skating skills, or you're a seasoned player itching for some extra ice time, this is the perfect session for you! 

We encourage all newcomers to the sport of Ice Hockey however skaters require a basic skating skill - able to skate unassisted and capable of stopping effectively.

**NO hard pucks will be allowed on the ice due to safety concerns, we supply rubber practice pucks.**
Goal and marker cones are available to use.

Join us on Friday mornings for Coffee Club, a friendly and social ice-skating session especially for adults aged 18years+. 

Every Friday during the NSW school term, 10:00am–11:30am

Whether you're completely new to skating or looking to build your confidence on the ice, Coffee Club is a relaxed, welcoming environment where you can learn at your own pace, meet new people and have some fun along the way.

Price is inclusive of skate and helmet hire, 90min skating with support from an accredited APSA instructor and a small hot beverage voucher at Sublime Lounge to use after the session.
